AndrewMITCHELLVictor (Vic) M.B; B.Ch; F.F.R It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vic on 10th January 2014, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Muriel, father of Sophie, Mark, Stephanie and Peter, grandfather of Eloise, Lucy, Lily and Issy. Born in Castlerock, Northern Ireland and educated at Queen's University, Belfast. Service in the Royal Air Force was followed by a long and distinguished career as a Consultant Diagnostic Radiologist at Torbay Hospital. He was a popular and long-standing member of Torquay Golf Club. He was much loved and will be sorely missed. Funeral Service at St. Matthias Church, Wellswood, Torquay on Thursday, 23rd January at 2pm. No flowers please but donations for Torbay Hospital League of Friends or The Ricky Grant Unit may be given by retiring collection or sent to Vanessa Loram, Funeral Director at T. & I.
