Always happy when I saw him in his garden pottering about or polishing his car. RIP John.

You were the best Father a Son could have wished for, you always stood by my side and you never ever let me down not once, a lovely kind and humble man, all your friends and neighbors are so upset, so many lovely things they have said about you and all true. Like I said to you a few times your Father who died in the war when you were only 6 would be so so proud of the man you turned out to be, I feel truly honoured to call you my Father I have been a very very luckily man in life to have had such wonderful parents, with you not around anymore my life will always be sad, it’s just the way it is going to be but I will look after Sienna your granddaughter that’s for sure, I just miss you an awful lot, and miss you making me a cup of tea after we had dinner together as you made the best tea, I love you Dad, always will, such a great man. LOVE YOU DAD YOU WERE A WONDERFUL MAN XXX
