SarahMITCHINSONSADIE It is with great sadness that Sadie passed away peacefully on Thursday 19th November 2020 at Monkstone House Care Home, Porthcawl, aged 93 years. Formerly of Merlin Close, Porthcawl, Sadie was the beloved wife of the late Jim Mitchinson. Cherished Mum to her three children, Philip, Sally Ann and Anthony and a proud Grandma to her four grandchildren Krish, James, Molly and Jaya. Sadie was much loved and very active in several organisations in the town over the last 55 years. She regularly attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, former President of The Porthcawl Bowls Club and was a long standing member of Porthcawl Flower Arrangers Society. Sadly due to Covid-19 Sadie's funeral service will be by invitation only and is to take place on Wednesday 9th December 2020 in Our Lady Star Of the Sea Catholic Church at 12.30pm followed by a committal at Margam Crematorium. Prior to the church service, the cortege will travel from Merlin Close at 12.15pm along the sea front and Eastern Promanade turning right onto New Road to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, we would like to invite you to support Dementia UK in her memory.
