JosephineMOONEY"Josie" (formerly Brandeberry and Hughes) Died peacefully on Monday 12th June 2017 at age 84. Josie lived in Whitefield but she was a proud Dubliner. Widow of beloved husband Joe Mooney, Josie will be dearly missed by her sons Johnny, Tommy, and Joseph. She was a devoted grandmother to Theresa, Clare, Hannah, Dennis, Jade, Lauren and Joseph. She is survived by four sisters, Rose, May, Rita, and Pat. Josie was fiercely dedicated to all her family, especially her departed husband and three sons. Everyone described Josie as a character, funny yet strong in will and determination. She will be painfully missed by all her family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents at the Regency Care Home for all their love and care of Josie for the past three years. They made her feel as though she were at home. Evening Reception into St Bernadette's Church, Whitefield on Thursday 29th June at 8:30pm prior to Requiem Mass on Friday 30th June at 11.00am followed by Interment at Blackley Cemetery.
