I only heard yesterday of Dean's death. I remember Dean from primary school, he was a beautiful looking little fellow with a mop of blond hair & so friendly & likeable. To see the photos of the fine footballing captain, enormously respected dentist, & proud family man of a beautiful family is just an inspiration to anyone. And let no one be under any illusions, Dean faced & overcame obstacles in his younger years that would have likely broken most people. But not Dean. I truly wish our paths would have met later on & we could have talked of the Brother's school in Navan & so on. All I can say is to give my sincere sympathies to family & friends. This was a great man. A credit to Ireland & a credit to his family & himself. May you rest in eternal peace Dean.
