NoreenMOOREMrs Noreen Moore, of Harcourt Road, Accrington, died on Thursday, April 14, aged 88. Noreen was a secretary, and a housewife and mother after her children were born. She was a member of the Royal British Legion, Hyndburn. Noreen loved knitting and craft work, and going to craft markets. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she always had an open door and a cuppa. Wife of the late Fred Moore, and mother of the late Michael Moore, she leaves son Kenneth Moore, daughter Susan Slater, and daughter Jennifer Collings. The funeral will be held on Friday, May 6, at 1pm at St John’s, Baxenden, led by Fr David Arnold, followed by a private family burial. Family flowers only; donations if desired to the Royal British Legion c/o funeral director Hillside Funeral Directors, Accrington.
