Adrian was a dear, kind and compassionate man who will be deeply missed. Having known him for more than fifty years, yes, he was also difficult, cantankerous and belligerent. However, those who really loved him saw a man completely dedicated to the causes he was involved in. He was an outstanding artist, photographer, teacher and philosopher. His journalistic skills, fractals and facebook postings were really quite extraordinary. Adrian's empathy in caring for wild animals was remarkable, his huge badger family thrived and he found great comfort with his cats.
He was born in the Spring and perhaps we could all plant bulbs in his memory, He would enjoy a splash of colour popping up after a dark winter and he would also enjoy the idea of it annoying you if they popped up in the wrong place!!
You will always have a very special place in my heart and I will miss you dearly but the universe now has another extraordinary star to shine down and protect us
