ShirleyMORGANThe standard-bearer of our home, The loudest voice we knew, A heart that beat for family, And bled a brilliant blue.
Through every season, come what may, She cheered the team along, At Ninian Park or the Cardiff City Stadium, She always knew the song.
The ninety minutes on the pitch, The tension and the cheer, Were part of what she loved the most, With those she held so dear.
The final whistle now has blown, Her earthly match is done, But memories of her vibrant soul, Will shine like summer's sun.
She's taken up her rightful place, High up in Heaven's stand, The finest, proudest Bluebird fan, In all of football land.
So wear the scarf and wave the flag, And sing her anthem loud, For Mum has earned her final rest, And left us fiercely proud.
Miss you and love you always Mum, Julie and Gareth. xxx
