Barbara JuneMORRIS (COWLISHAW)Barbara June Morris (Nee Cowlishaw) of Ashover Passed away at her home on Tuesday 25th June 2024 aged 93.
Born in Matlock Barbara was the second of seven sisters, Jean, Doreen, Janet, Jacqueline, Burins and Hillary. In her younger years Barbara worked at Paton & Baldwin’s woollen mill,. In 1954 Barbra met Peter they married the following year and welcomed their first child Linda in 1958 followed a couple of years later by Lesley Ann.
In later years Barbara enjoyed being a grandmother to her 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Barbara worked as a cleaner cleaning local houses. She enjoyed knitting in her spare time, and even joined a band. Barbara will be dearly missed by her Husband, Daughters and the whole family.
Her funeral service will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 16th July 2024 at All Saints Church, 22 Church Street, Ashover, Chesterfield S45 0AB.
