Not many I remember from school but your mum is definitely one of them. Although I did like her as a teacher, she got me suspended for 3 days for wearing leg warmers.

So sorry for your loss Joe. I remember your mum well, she was always strict but very kind. She always used to carry her glasses and had a bit of her fringe she used to push back into place. She was always smiling and laughing. So sorry for your loss

Extremely sorry to learn of your loss, my sincere condolences to you and your family. I remember your mother vividly, she was my English teacher all the way through the lower school, very fond memories of her. I've thought about Mrs Morris many times in recent years, I'm certainly no academic and English language was an area I particularly floundered in during schooling. By a strange twist of fate I've been teaching English myself over the past 9 years to Brazilians, initially in the Americas though now also throughout Europe, as the most lucid memories I possess of being a English language student myself are that of when Mrs Morris was our tutor I've often wondered to myself what Mrs Morris would think of my teaching methods, I'm quite certain she wouldn't be overly impressed, though I would have loved to have heard any suggestions she might have had. Due to my location and obligations I won't be able to attend on the 7th, my heartfelt condolences again.
