CynthiaMORRISBorn 9th May 1936. Died 4th November 2024 Aged 88 years. Born in Cwmavon to Byron and Dilys Llewellyn. Cynthia worked for decades for the NHS. Beloved mum of Chris, Andrew and Jeanette. Adored Nain of Matthew, Nathan, Daniel and partner Jess. Loving great grandmother of Theo, Daisie Mae and Archie.

Cynthia passed way peacefully at home surrounded by family after bravely fighting for some time.

Cynthia did not want a public funeral but wants all her friends, ex NHS colleagues and wider family to celebrate her wonderful life in a way of their own choosing and/or make a donation to Velindre Cancer Centre.

After a simple cremation, the immediate family will privately scatter her ashes.

I was very fortunate to be placed on Llan Med Bridgend General Hospital under the leadership of this wonderful woman in 1981. Her teaching, guidance and encouragement has never be forgotten and to learn of her passing today is a sad loss to the nursing world. Sincere condolences to her family on their sad loss. Rest peacefully Sister Morris

I wished I had been able to stay longer on her ward after I qualified,I would have learnt so much more.A brilliant educator,with a beautiful smile.
Condolences to her family,you have so much to be proud of.
Her funeral would have been packed out I'm sure.🥰
