Tracey DawnMORROLLSadly passed away on the 8th January 2024, aged 53 years.

A special wife to Anthony, a much loved daughter to Wendy and a treasured sister to Susan.

A funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston On Trent on Wednesday 31st January at 11.30 am.

Flowers are welcome, however donations to Dogs Trust, Cancer Research UK or Macmillan Cancer Support are preferred and may be placed in the donation box at the service or given online by visiting funeral-notices.co.uk.

I don't often get chance to smile at a stranger and their dog these days, but I have a very precious God Dog who is my best friend's assistance dog, and a couple of Sundays ago we took him for a long muddy walk and saw so many other dogs and their owners, and I thought of you. Really hope your family are adjusting to life without you and have beautiful memories of you as I do. Twitter is a lonelier place without our Cherry xxx

I can't believe it's been a year since we lost our Twitter inspiration to smile at a stranger and their dog. Still think of you every time I do Tracey/Cherry, although sadly I have less opportunity to do so now as I have changed jobs and no longer walk through a park on my way to work! Maybe it's quality not quantity that counts? Thinking of all your family and friends who are no doubt missing you so very much. RIP Tracey xxx
