Rest in Peace, Grandad
Reunited with Maureen after 25 years apart! After hearing stories from your old friends last night, it's easy to understand why you missed her so much. She was still remembered as the life and soul of every party – funny, kind, and always bringing joy.
You two were the perfect match. A lady with charm, and you, the perfect gentleman.
You'll be missed more than you'll ever know, by so many people.
We will miss you most at Christmas. It won’t be the same without you there, though Fr. Tony already has me signed up for Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.
I can’t help but smile when I think about the laughter that must be filling heaven now, with Maureen, Esther, Ray, Paul, David, and Alan. There are so many wonderful, funny memories to treasure from those early years.
You're also reunited with Brian, Micky, Jacky, Winnie, Frances, and young Frances – all the loved ones we know you’ve been missing so much.
I'll miss your stories most of all. Just this week, Mum and I have been talking about “Boney Edwards” and laughing at the memories.
Love you always,
xxxx
