A celebration of her life will be held at The Old Chapel, Etruria, ST1 5PE, on May 11th at 11:30.
No funeral flowers or mourning dress, by request. Instead, you are welcome to bring a wildflower or something from your own garden to place on the coffin and please wear the bright colours that Elaine loved.
Elaine was a well known and much loved local figure, recognised for her long and illustrious career in education.
The devoted partner of Ken, loving mother to Margaret, Andrew and Helen, mother-in-law to James and doting grandmother to Emma, Laura, and Jessica.
Elaine took great pleasure in her large family which includes both great and great-great grandchildren.
Light refreshments will be available at the chapel immediately after the service.
