Simon HenryMULLENpassed away peacefully at Queenscourt Hospice on 13th June 2023 aged 47 years, just as he wanted with his wife Ellie by his side, together till the end. A loving son of Henry (deceased), and younger brother to Patrick. The most wonderful husband to Ellie, the Best Daddy in the whole wide world to Jessica, a much loved son in law to Deepy and a friend to most who ever met him! Si was one of life's gooduns, a French polisher by trade or as he would say he "made wood shiny!" A windup merchant by default, with the best sense of humor known to man! An 80s music guru, if you knew Si you knew of his talents in the music dept, a talent that he should have done more with. He was never happier than having a go on his keyboard or guitar, teaching Jess to love music as much as he did. Si was just the best, to know him was special, we were the lucky ones that got to love him as much as he loved us. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday 26th June at St Peters Church Formby, 12pm, followed by interment at Sacred Heart RC Church Ainsdale at 1pm. Ellie and Jess kindly ask you to paint your nails rainbow colours in honor of Si. Family flowers only, any donations in memory of Si, will be gratefully received and split between Queenscourt Hospice and The Osborne Trust. follow the link below or care of Len.
