LeslieMUMFORDIt is with great sadness that the Mumford family announce the passing of Leslie Downing Mumford at the wonderful age of 94. Les slipped suddenly and quietly away in the University of Wales Hospital on Monday 24th January 2022. Les was a loving and devoted husband to the late Gwen for 71 years. A devoted family man, he will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Carol, June, Gwyneth and the late Eileen and Sylvia, sons Leslie and the late John. A much loved and hugely respected Father-in-law, Grandad and Great Grandad (aka Scampy and Great Scampy), Les will be greatly missed by all his family, his many friends and all who knew and loved him in Ely and Rhiwbina. The Funeral service is to take place on Friday 18th February, at Thornhill Crematorium in the Wenallt Chapel at 11.00am. Family flowers only please.
