Just discovered that Mike had passed away. My wife, Marie and I had a great night with him at Bar Bistrot, Villeneuve-sur-Lot on October 21, 2007 after watching a rugby league match between the local side and St Gaudens. I am a rugby league writer from Australia, and, of course, Mike played league for Wales. We had a lovely chat that night and he was charming company.

RIP Mick.
We had great parties at Merton Rd. You were always a pleasure to be with. We had good fun in the L.pool Clubs and with the Lisbon Lads gatherings. I'll remember you at Mass. John (Sean) Quinn
