WinstonMURPHYBorn Falmouth, Jamaica 05.09.1920, died Nottingham 14.11.2023 after complications following COVID, formerly Purser, Merchant Navy, appeared in Fighting for King and Empire: Britain's Caribbean Heroes, Senior Lecturer, West Nottinghamshire College 1963-1985. Husband of Eileen (died 16.11 2016), greatly missed by Tim, Vicki, Ben and Gabriel. His absence will be profoundly felt, as his presence brought warmth and wisdom to those who knew him. No flowers. Donations to Red Cross. Funeral private. A celebration of his life will be held in the New Year.
