EdithMURRAY(née Laybourn) (North Shields, Formerly of Laurel Avenue, Fawdon for 64 years) Peacefully in Appleby Care Home after a long life well lived on 22nd May, aged 93 years.

She is now reunited with her loving husband Chris of 65 years, very much loved and missed mam of Linda, mother in law of Philip and grandma to their dog Skye. She was a loving sister, sister-in-law, auntie, great auntie, great great auntie, she loved them all and was loved very much by all who knew her, family and friends old and new, including her family at Appleby Care Home. With so many thanks to them all for their very friendly loving and caring team. She will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends please meet for service at Trinity Church, Gosforth on Thursday 13th June at 11.00am, followed by a committal service at the West Road Crematorium at 12.00noon.

All welcome to Tynemouth Castle Inn (formerly the Park Hotel).

Flowers welcome or donations if preferred may be sent to Appleby Care Home Residents Fund. A donation box will be available at the service
