William died suddenly at home, aged 96, after battling with COPD for many years.
He was loved by all and will be sadly missed by his wife, Jean, sister Brenda, children Michael & Gillian, stepchildren Valerie, Judy & Barbara, spouses Tim, Karen & Gary, 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
He was a keen storyteller, driver, caravanner and golfer almost to the end and dealt with his recent declining health with typical, ironic humour.
Service of Celebration of Life to be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday, 14th July, 2025 at 1:15 pm.
