KatharineMYERSShe was born to James and Doris Simcock, Runcorn, 9th July 1936.
Graduating as a physical education teacher she taught at The Grange School, Runcorn and Victoria Road, Runcorn. Later becoming a school governor at The Grange.
Katharine is survived by her three children Jane, Susan, Stephen, grandchildren Rory, Tan-haf, Jack, Morgan, Olivia and Malik, and great grandchildren Grace and Lyla.
Katharine spent many happy years in Ladies Circle and later Tangent where she was involved in local fundraising activities.
She was a keen golfer and became Ladies Captain of Runcorn Golf Club in 2003.
Katharine was a loving wife and mother who will always be loved and missed by us all.
The funeral service will take place at Walton Lea Crematorium on Thursday 1st February at 15.20.
