I am hugely grateful for Jinty Nelson's huge appreciation of my father's work and the guidance she received from him.

My gorgeous Nana Janet. Even now I still can’t get my head around the fact that you’re really gone- it doesn’t feel real 💔

You’ve been there from the beginning, a constant figure in our lives - whether that was guiding and advising us, minding us when growing up and generally acting daft with us, or generally throwing well intended insults at us, which always had us crying laughing.

You were the strongest lady I knew, an inspiration to us all, and fought right to the end. I hope I become even half the person you were ❤️

I will miss your stubbornness, your cheekiness/banter, and your crankiness, but most of all, I will miss you. I will miss your fierceness, your kindness, your selflessness, and your warm and loving nature. You always made sure that we knew we were loved, and we always felt that ❤️❤️

I’m so sorry we couldn’t fix this for you, and I’m so sorry we didn’t get that trip to the shop for yet another bag - I will take you when we meet again, I promise ❤️

I hope you’re back with your Mam, Dad, your brother and sisters who went before you, and your beloved Trixie 🐶🐾
