PaulNENERPassed away peacefully after a long illness on the 28th September 2023 in the Wirral University Hospital aged 81 years.

Paul will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. RIP.

Requiem Mass will be offered on Thursday 19th October 2023 in St James The Great Church, Haydock, at 11am followed by a private Cremation at St Helens Crematorium.

The Funeral service will be live streamed and can be accessed on You Tube by searching for St James The Great Haydock.

Rest in peace, Fr Paul. We had our differences in the past but there was mutual respect and regard.
Many at St John the Baptist church in Tuebrook will have been saddened by the passing away of their well loved vicar, as will the members of The Guild of Saint Raphael whom you served diligently as the Sub Warden for so many years.
Many will owe you gratitude for the eventual salvation of their immortal soul serving as a Canon of the Church of England.
Many other people whose lives you prolonged as a surgeon in the Royal Liverpool Hospital also owe you their thanks, not to mention the orphaned children of Romania for whom you selflessly gave your time and skills following the political upheavals which brought their sorry plight to the attention of the world.
May God bless you and keep you near him for eternity.
