ArthurNEWBYof North Wheatley Died peacefully on Thursday 20th April, aged 96 years. Dearly loved husband of Mavis for 64 years. Father of Paul, Ruth and Michael. Brother of Mary. Grandfather of nine grandchildren. Arthur was a former engineer, Royal Air Force Officer, teacher and lecturer. He served as Chairman of North and South Wheatley Parish Council and Treasurer and then President of the Retford Royal Air Forces Association. Funeral and Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Babworth Road, Retford.
