Frances was a great support and friend to my mother during her years of widowhood between 1975 and 2001 and followed my musical career, attending organ recitals in Exeter Cathedral and elsewhere in Devon. Until more recently, she still continued to show great interest in my career during retirement and always welcomed me for afternoon tea when I was visiting Exeter. May she rest in peace.
