AnneNEWMANIt is with great sadness that the family of Anne Newman share the news of her passing on Wednesday 17th September at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset, following a short illness at the age of 79. Originally from Littleborough and Rochdale.
Beloved wife of the late Ian, devoted mother to Michelle, Antony and Joanne and much-loved Nana of Bethany, Joshua, James, Jack, William, Saskia and Laura. Anne was also the sister of Tony, Barry and Joan.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 at Mendip Crematorium, Wells, Somerset and afterwards a Celebration of Life at The Swan Hotel, Wells, BA5 2RX. All are welcome to attend. Family flowers only please. In keeping with Anne's warm and joyful spirit, we kindly ask that you wear cheerful and colourful attire to honour her personality. Donations will be gratefully received in Anne's name to Springhill Hospice, Rochdale.
