Barbara MavisNEWTONKen Newton would like to thank all those family members, friends, some of whom travelled great distances to be there and to neighbours for their attendance at Barbara's funeral on Tuesday, 29th March, 2022 and whose generosity enabled some £1020 to be collected which has now been presented to the Matlock Committee for Cancer Research UK. He would also like to thank all those who sent him messages of sympathy and who contacted him with support at a most trying time. Ken would also like to thank Joseph Allen & Sons, Funeral Directors of Belper for their arrangements which were efficient and sympathetic at a most difficult time and to Sally Ward the Celebrant who conducted the service with great dignity. Ken's appreciation also goes to the Staff at Alfreton Hall for their hard work in preparing and serving the food at the wake.
