Margaret RoseNICHOLLSof "Tinklings", Mumbles", sadly passed away on 16th October at the age of 88 years. After a long struggle with Kidney failure, Margaret spent a lot of time at Ty Olwen Hospice, Morriston. We thank them, the District Nurses, Dr's and Palliative team for taking such good care of her in Hospice and at home. Margaret was very grateful to you all and your encouragement gave her extra time she may not have had otherwise.
Margaret is Widow to her late husband Raymond Oakley Nicholls who she doted on and is finally reunited and back in his arms. She will be fondly remembered by family members: Roy and Sheila, Phil, Sue, Della and Ruth. Virginia, Tammy, Gwen and Rollo. She will be lovingly remembered and always cherished by her best friend of forty years, Richard. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends far and wide, but notably Pat and Christine.
Margaret was born in Dudley and as soon as Margaret and Ray were married, they moved the day after to Swansea to start a new life, this has been her home ever since with an incredibly busy theatrical life. Her other loves were Watercolour Painting, Directing, writing and simply loving her companion - Tilly (her cat). A well loved and respected theatrical character in Swansea and someone who had many friends far and wide within professional theatre - she was loved and will be sorely missed by all.
