PatriciaNICHOLSONMrs Patricia Nicholson, formerly of Lee Road, Stacksteads, died peacefully at Ashlands Nursing Home aged 72 on Friday, June 26, following a long fight with Motor Neurone Disease. Pat enjoyed her days working at Atherton Holme, Stacksteads before her retirement. In her younger days she was Goal Shooter for Waterfoot Ladies Netball Team. She leaves daughters Sharon and Lisa, son Scott, sons-in-law Colin and Nick, and grandchildren Brandon, Dylan, Ellie and Kai. A family funeral service was due to be held at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday, July 9, conducted by Rev Fr Christopher McGrane. Funeral director: Paul Swarbrick, for Knight and Boys Funeral Services, Stacksteads.
