ColinNICHOLSON (March 30 1947 - September 18 2021)(Longbenton) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colin (Dad/Grandad) aged 74 years. Born in Hexham, the retired Tyne and Wear Firefighter leaves behind his partner Sue; children: Graeme, Steven and Debbie, their families and granddaughters Emily, Ella and Heidi. Colin was proud to have served 22 years as a Firefighter and will be remembered for the love of his family and friends, his generosity and also his passion for motorbikes. His funeral will take place at Tynemouth Crematorium on Friday October 8th 2021 at 2:15pm. The family welcome anyone who knew Colin to attend. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Firefighters Charity.

Very sad news about Colin. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet .and would help anyone. I feel very privileged to say that Colin was one of my friends. This world is a much poorer place for his passing. Rest in peace, Colin.
