Alan was a good friend ,since the infants and Juniors at Blackmoor park ,then onto West Derby Comp a few years ago i arranged a reunion and we had a great night in the Wellington [Wellie ,,Barrel] on green Lane .Alan had a good time talking to everyone and so did his wife , when i was in the Village i would always call in for a chat with alan and would alays ho the rest of the lads here doing ..... Alan [Nicho ] WAS A GREAT LAD AND A PLEASURE TO OF SPENT MY SCHOOL TIME WITH ...West Derby Village has lost a Brilliant Butcher .And we Have lost a good Friend , there is so much to say about Alan and everyone ill agree with me,, thou now i leave it for those who wish to have a say
