Bea was a wonderful, generous woman who gave her considerable expertise and advice to me and my colleagues in teacher education with humour, energy and a twinkle in her eye. She will be much missed and fondly remembered.

Dear Bea
We first met when we were just four years old and somehow from then to now I always knew what you were up to that you were enjoying a life well lived .
I have so many happy memories from our youth and the fun we had , so many Friday night parties misspent at your parents house , many nights sneaking off to the Poly from my parents house , pop concerts with Pam and Barry , strictly non nautical trips to Blyth sailing club , caravanning in St Ives . Bottom group maths !
You were always a room lighter, a genuinely good fun person with a wonderful appreciation of the ridiculous . You have been an extraordinarily loyal friend to us Church High girls and I wish we had met up in our 70th year .
I am so pleased you were so successful in life and that you and James found each other and enjoyed a wonderful relationship.
Seventy years sounds like a long life but for you not long enough .
Much Love
Julia
