My sister, Sophie, was indeed a special lady. There is a significant void in my life now that she has passed. Although we lived apart most of our adult lives, there were letters, cards, phone calls and visits in the past that kept our love constant and enduring.
Sophie acted deeply for my three daughters, her nieces. She always asked after them and their families. Long after they left home, my dear sister continued to mail each one a birthday card every year, these will be missed this year.
Forever loved, forever missed.
