NOEL JANUSFormer Fleetwood Mac collaborator Noel Janus was found dead at his flat in Brighton on 22 August, 2009, aged 60.
Songwriter Mr Janus, who was also known for being the father of actress Samantha Janus and the brother of http://www.lastingtr ibute.co. uk/tribute/best/2589 208 [George Best]’s ex-wife Angie, is believed to have taken his own life.
His daughter, also known by her married name of Samantha Womack, plays barmaid Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders. She also had a leading role in the TV sitcom Game On.
Mr Janus had been suffering with heart problems and depression.
A guitarist and songwriter, Mr Janus released an album called Heroes of the World in 1977. He worked with a number of bands and artists including Fleetwood Mac.
