TeresaNOLANMRS Teresa Nolan, of Ascot Way, Accrington, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, aged 82. She was a Registered General Nurse, owner and matron at Cliffe House Care Home, Accrington, and latterly a partner of White Ash Brook in Oswaldtwistle. A devout Roman Catholic, following retirement she set up a charity shop on Water Street, Accrington. She also organised and managed numerous pilgrimages to shrines such as Lourdes, Fatima and Medjugorje. Wife of the late Michael Joseph Nolan (RIP 2011), she leaves three children, Ken, John and Marie. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 23, at St Anne’s RC Church, Accrington, administered by Fr. Stamp, followed by interment at Accrington Cemetery.
