RolandNORMANof Heron Place, Rawtenstall sadly passed away at home on March 1, aged 88 years.

Roland qualified as a painter and decorator on leaving school and continued in this profession for most of his working life. He also worked as a postman, a caretaker and in the family bakery business.

Roland was a loving family man, he enjoyed spending time with his family and socialising with friends.

He enjoyed DIY, walking, especially with his dogs he had over the years and he was an excellent water colour painter. He loved to watch football on TV and previously enjoyed watching his grandsons play football.

Roland was a widow to late wife Barbara and
father to Adele and Gary and partners and late
daughter Sandra.

He leaves grandchildren, Sofi, Izak, Nickaela and Luke and partners, greatgrandchildren Theo and Marley.

Brother Russell and family and sister-in-laws Shirley and Gloria and nieces and nephews and families.
