DonaghO'CALLAGHAN (Don)O'CALLAGHAN Donagh Don It is with sadness we announce the passing of Don (Donagh) O'Callaghan formerly of Co. Cork, Ireland. Resident of Llansamlet, Swansea for 50 years peacefully passed away at Morriston Hospital on 25th December, 2020. Sadly missed by his wife Kathleen and their children Timothy, Margaret and Sean, their children's partners Evonne, Jonny and Lauren, and their grandchildren, Jack, Ben, Evan, Ola, Rhys, Arto and Harry, he will also be sadly missed by his extended family in Ireland and large circle of friends throughout the world. Service to be held on Thursday 4th February at Sacred Heart R.C. Church Morriston at 1pm, followed by cremation at Swansea Crematorium at 2.30pm. The procession will take place from Gwyn Jones Chapel of Rest, Trallwn Road at 12.40pm through Summer Place, Llansamlet at 12.45pm before heading on to Morriston. Due to current restrictions, only his immediate family or friends living locally are invited to attend the service. We hope to arrange live streaming of the event; details will be shared with family and friends nearer the time. Family flowers only, donations in his memory gratefully received. UK residents may wish to donate to help set up funeral broadcasting facilities at The Sacred Heart in order that other families so cruelly separated during their grief are able to share their loved one's service with family and friends. Grandpa was loving, caring and just about everything you would want in a grandpa. I will miss him and continue to do so everyday. His wise words have stuck to me like glue and I am very thankful for that. I will uses his knowledge and wisdom with everything I do. I loved everything about him from his phrases like 'you get your handsome looks from me' to his seeming endless supply of chocolate coins behind our ears. Memories with him are some of my fondest. I love you Grandpa so much xxxx

I never got to know Grandpa as well as I could have but even from the parts of his life that I do know, I can say with absolute certainty that he was a brilliant Grandfather, Father and Husband. You will be truly missed xxx
