He was famous he was. Mr Spiers teacher padstow school. When asking newcomers if they had any siblings that had attended the school previously. Saying ‘Let’s liven things up’ to the restaurant pianist before easing him off his stool and playing ‘chopsticks’. Scarce seen without a roll-up in one hand and a glass in the other you was never going to do a Captain Tom. But plenty of people are genuinely sorry to lose you and, as epitaphs go, most would settle for that.
