StephenO'HAGANWords cannot describe the utter devastation, and shock of all the friends and family at the sudden passing of Stephen. It is impossible to describe the impact he had on so many people in just a few short paragraphs, but here we go: Stephen had his roots in Liverpool, born to Hugh and Ivy. The family, including Steve's late brother Simon, had moved to South Africa when Steve was just a youngster. Stephen accomplished great things in SA. An astute businessman, he ran large companies, eventually leaving the corporate world and running his own successful business. As someone who had a penchant for telling people where to get off, he eventually realised this was the way to go. A more articulate, knowledgeable man you will not find. I have lost count the number of people who have described Steve as their mentor. He leaves behind his wife Melaine, his son Marc(myself), and grandson Mason, among his immediate family. It is difficult contemplating life without his guile and presence. He loved his wine, and was always up for a heated debate. His sharp sense of humour and dry wit was unrivalled. Dad, I will miss you terribly. I have lost that anchor, and life will not be the same. The city of Liverpool can be proud to have given birth to such a fine individual. We all love you, and will always love you to eternity.
