HughO'HARAIt is with great sadness that we announce the tragic and unexpected passing of Hugh O'Hara on 31st May 2026, aged 83 years, with his beloved wife by his side. A devoted husband to Irene, a much-loved and adoring dad to Michelle and Paul, and a dearly loved father-in-law to Trevor and Nicola. Hugh was a treasured grandad to Kirsty, Nathan, Abbie, Will and Matthew, and great-grandad to Harvey. He will also be fondly remembered as a much loved brother-in-law, uncle and a dear friend to many. Hugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a true gentleman, respected and loved by everyone whose lives he touched.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 17th June 2026 in St Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium at 2pm.
