I have just been informed that i was related to Barrie. My birth name is Norman Oldfield, My Father was Norman Derek Oldfield, they were cousins, My father passed when i was 9 months old so i have so many questions. i’ve had my heart absolutely shredded😭😭My best pal has said goodbye to this world! The most bubbliest of characters. Loved by everyone on the street especially myself and Luke. Barrie and I go back to our teenage years and our military service, he in the Cheshire’s and I in REME circa 1956. Afterwards until I moved from Mac and the district circa 1979 until then we enjoyed many adventures together as young men do. Loyal old friend, God rest your soul. David.
