JohnO'ROURKEJohn O’Rourke, 44 years old of Newchurch Road, Stacksteads died peacefully at home with his family and friends around him on March 27, after a short, hard battle with cancer.
John leaves his wife Nolene, his children Jordan, Leon, Paige, Aaron, Courtney and Dominic.
John also leaves his mum Elizabeth, mother in law Pat, brothers Kevin and Robert and sister Liz.
John leaves nephews and nieces, brothers in law and sisters in law.
John lived in Haslingden as a child and moved to London in his teenage years, then met Nolene in 2002, where John lived in Stacksteads and had his family and got married in 2014.
John loved going on holiday in the caravan with Jenny, Anthony and kids and Nolene and their kids and his mother in law who he called Trish.
John also liked the odd game of bingo and going to Blackpool on days out. John was a very well loved man around Rossendale and would do anything for anyone. John was a very cheeky chap and he wasn’t shy when it came to talking to people.
John’s funeral is on Wednesday, April 24, at 10am, leaving Knight and Boys, Stacksteads then onto a service at St Peters Church, Newchurch at 10.15am with Father Stamp.
Then onto Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am.
