GillianOSTINSPeacefully sailed away on Thursday 17th August 2023, at West Cornwall Hospital, Gillian, aged 82 years of Penzance formerly of Cofton Hackett, Birmingham. Beloved wife of George. Much loved Mum of Samantha, Sue and John. Loving Nan of Joshua, Judyth and Solomon. Funeral service to be held at Chapel Street Methodist Church on Friday 8th September at 1p.m. Followed by a Committal service at 4 p.m. at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne. Family flowers only but donations if so desired for GOFA may be sent to Burroughs and Kearey Funeral Directors, The Rear of Barwis Terrace, Penzance TR18 2AW Tel. 01736 364062

I’m am sorry to hear this sad news, I have been cutting Gills hair for years now, she was a wonderful and kind person, I will miss our conversations, unfortunately, I won’t make the 8th but all my wishes go to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Gill's passing. She was the loveliest of ladies; I have many fond memories of her from Chapel Street. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Claire
