Dearest Mick and Gill

The pain of your passing stretches across the world.

However I take great comfort in years of happy memories of Whitecroft Christmases, badminton on the lawn, Give us a Clue in the lounge, and hearty lunches in the dining room.

Mick, your resilience and good humour is an inspiration to us all, and Gill your devotion and dedication to him is proof that love conquers all.

Mick, while I struggle to comprehend that you’re no longer with us, it’s the angels who now get the benefit of your good company and witty one liners. They’re in for a treat.

Whenever we caught up in recent years, we always recalled dancing together to YMCA at Tristan’s wedding. And getting the spelling wrong. Was it CMYA? ACYM?

Either way, it made us both laugh and smile and that is how I’ll always remember you Mick. Rest in peace.
