I will always remember how you stuck up for me, and how I looked up to you! All the girls adored you, but I admired you as my friend. You were older than me, but you were never embarrassed to be my friend. We always talked, and laughed so hard. You used to let me win at British Bulldog, and when Alan May stole my football, I cried, and you got it back for me.
When people were racist to me, you were the first person who jumped to my defence,. You were my hero!! I was too young to go into town with you and your mates, but you would come back to your Dad’s and his partner Debra (Debbs) full of stories for me. That day you didn’t come back to me, I waited on the park until dark. I knocked on the door, and Debra and her daughter Sarah told me you had gone. I could hear your dad Phil, howling in pain. I never came to terms with your death. You are with me every day. I will never forget you my dear ftiend Ben, we were 2 damaged kids who gravitated towards eachother. I will always love and adore you Ben, your dear friend and little adopted sis, Sweety🌹❤️ gone, but zI can promise faithfully, never ever forgotten. I pray for you every day xxxxx
