With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our lovely Dorothy Ann Park, known to us all as Dot, on 31st August 2026.
A much-loved wife to her late husband Jimmy, and after all this time, they are finally together again.
A loving daughter to Vic, and a much-loved sister to the late Marge and her brother Vic. A devoted mam to Darren and Derek, and a much-loved mother in law to Vicki and Catherine.
Dot was a cherished and devoted Nana to Jake, Cameron and Lauren - they were her absolute world. She was also a much-loved Auntie to Gemma, who shared a very special bond with Dot, and an amazing Great Aunty to Kieran and Michaela.
She was loved so so much and will be missed more than words can say. We will treasure the memories, the laughter and all the special moments we shared with her.
Rest in peace, Dot. You are forever loved and will never be forgotten. ️
Dot's funeral will take place on Tuesday 15th September at 2.45pm at West Road Crematorium.
Floral tributes are welcome and can be sent care of the Funeral Director's below on the morning of the funeral or donations in lieu of flowers can be made to The British Heart Foundation via a collection as you leave the Crematorium.
Afterwards, we would love for family and friends to join us at The PTE in Byker to celebrate Dot's life, share memories and raise a glass to her. Everyone who knew and loved Dot is welcome
