You have been the most wonderful and outstanding father, grandfather and stepfather, which will never be taken away from us.Your life was my life, and I have been one of the luckiest people to have experienced such happiness with such a kind, loving, considerate and gentle husband. You have been an inspiration to us all and will continue to be so.Your achievements and goals in life have been remarkable, we are all so very proud.My love for you will continue to be as strong and vivid, but my pain will last until I see you again.I love you my darling David. Your adoring wife Glynis.The funeral will take place at All Saints Church, Aston on Trent, Thursday June 14th at 10 am, prior to private interment at Weston on Trent. Family flowers only by request, donations can be made in lieu to The British Heart Foundation, care of Co-operative Society, 113 Cotmanhay Road, Ilkeston.
