Spent many mornings walking our dogs before work in Lakeview Park putting the world to rights. Great times and great company.

Today we remember Don Parker — a husband deeply cherished by my dear friend Renia, a devoted dad to her wonderful son Tom, and a man whose quiet strength touched everyone who knew him. Don was an engineer by trade, but also an old-time gentleman by nature: thoughtful, steady, and unfailingly respectful. In his garden he was a king, nurturing every plant with the same patient care he showed the people in his life.

He was a thoroughly decent, genuinely lovely man — the kind you felt better for having known. Don leaves behind warmth, kindness, and gentle humour that will stay with us always. May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the love he shared so generously.

Don was a true gentleman and it was a privilege to have known him. His son Tomasz always spoke of him as being a great and stabilising influence upon his younger life. We can only guess how much he will be missed by Susan and Regina. If there is an allotment in heaven then he will be directed there. His produce was the finest ever.
The world is a little smaller without him.
