Nicholas JohnPARKESof Rolleston On Dove Passed away suddenly on Tuesday 6th December 2022 aged 54 years. Devoted husband of Elaine and caring stepdad of Sophie and Nathan. Loving son of Carol and Graham, brother of Gary, uncle, nephew, good friend and colleague to so many. The funeral service will take place in the Carnarvon Chapel at Bretby Crematorium on Wednesday 11th January 2023 at 12 noon, followed by a private family burial in Rolleston Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Nick may be placed in the collection box at the service and will be forwarded to British Heart Foundation and RSPB or alternatively by visiting nicholasparkes.muchloved.com Further enquiries please to Co-operative Funeralcare, Borough Road, Tel: 01283 568431

The world is a very very tiny place 😥 lots of googling to here, face book checking, connecting names & nowhere I can message so here. My absolute heart & prayers pours out to you all🙏 . What a huge shock. Took a lot of work to chase Nick very recently ( so only recently communicated after over 30 years) when an old colleague / manager of his very similar age 😰 passed , that person would have been shocked/ saddened & would have wanted to pay respects. I am on his behalf 😥He worked with from both the W. ptnships . Apologies I don't know how to do these donation things or I would x

We cannot say how deeply shocked and upset we were to hear about the sad news of Nick. He was the kindest but the most competent man we have ever met. He was our accountant but also a friend who was there by our side. We send our deepest sympathy to his wife who he spoke about regularly and and all his family. Sandy & David xxx
