LesPARKINThe well known award-winning Derby photographer passed away on 7th October 2018 following a long illness. Les leaves wife Pat, son and daughter, David and Kathryn and their partners, Harriet and Peter. A thanksgiving service to celebrate Les's life will be held at St Paul's Church, Quarndon, on Tuesday 23rd October at 2pm. Family flowers only please. Donations are welcome to one of his favourite charities, Motor Neurone Disease Association and may be left on the day or sent care of Wathall's Tel. 01332 345268 www.wathalls.co.uk

On hearing of Uncle Les' passing, we as a family went through a suitcase of happy memories including a number of photos taken over the years by Uncle Les.
While looking through these it was lovely to find a photo of my Mum Dorothy and Uncle Les together.
We always knew Christmas had arrived when the Parkin family Christmas card arrived which Uncle Les would always design himself.
All our love to Aunty Pat, David and Catherine at this sad time.
